Renting a Lodge
This luxury pine lodge, which currently holds a self catering **** (4 Star) grading (April 2004) issued by the Scottish Tourist Board, is set in the grounds of the former Glenlaggan mansion house, enjoying magnificent views overlooking Loch Ken and the Galloway Forest Park. Surrounded by unspoilt countryside, it offers excellent opportunities for fishing, golf, water sports, walking and a wealth of scenic and historic attractions.
This new luxury pine lodge can be rented either on a weekly basis or for a mini-break. The fully insulated lodge accommodates a maximum of six persons, warm and snug in the winter, cool in the heat of summer, and commands a prime view from the Park.
It comprises one double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, shower room with hip bath and toilet, open plan lounge, dining room and kitchen.
