Welcome
Located in the heart of Dumfries and Galloway, Loch Ken is one of the finest examples of a managed inland waterway in the UK. Water skiing, fishing, sailing and nature reserves are all supported within the loch boundaries which are within a few hours drive of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Newcastle and Manchester.
Loch Ken Marina and Glenlaggan Lodges are situated 8 Miles North-West of Castle Douglas on the A713.
Glenlaggan Lodges
Glenlaggan Lodges have been operating since August 1999. There is provision for 19 holiday lodges, each with unrivalled panoramic views extending out across Loch Ken. The lodges are set in the grounds and gardens of the former Glenlaggan Mansion. During May and June the park is particularly beautiful when it enjoys a spectacular display of colour from the mature rhododendrons that once formed the gardens.
For the fourth consecutive year we have been awarded **** by the Scottish Tourist Board for our self catering lodge.
Loch Ken Marina
Loch Ken Marina is situated in the prime position for water sports and offers facilities for water skiing, fishing, boating and caravans.
